Their journey from newspaper ads and a single truck to a thriving business with 14 employees—including their son Lucas, now in management—reflects both their entrepreneurial spirit and deep community roots.

They are passionate about training the next generation of tradespeople, regularly bringing in co-op students from local schools and colleges. “We train them the Brooks way,” Nathalie explains, emphasizing the importance of mentorship and hands-on experience. Their dedication to inclusivity is evident in their hiring practices and community outreach, including support for women in trades through the Women in HVAC initiative, which Nathalie co-founded to encourage more women to enter the HVAC field.
Brooks Heating & Air is also known for its generosity, recently they donated a water heater to the local Acton Food Share. They also support local sports teams, donate to hospitals, Food For kids, and participating in unique fundraising events like “Walk in Her Heels” for the Halton Women’s Shelter.
